1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our platform and services, which connect users seeking transportation or parcel delivery with independent drivers. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

"Company" refers to Teemoh Holding (Pty) Ltd.
"User" refers to anyone using the platform to request or offer transport or delivery services.
"Driver/Partner" refers to independent contractors using the platform to provide services.
"Platform" refers to our website, mobile app, and any associated technology.

3. Services

The Company provides a platform that allows Users to:

  • Request passenger transport or parcel delivery.
  • Connect with approved Drivers who offer these services.

The Company is not a transport or courier company but a facilitator of services between Users and independent Drivers.

4. User Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure parcels do not contain prohibited or illegal items.
  • Be available at agreed pickup and drop-off points.
  • Pay fees and charges as per the booking confirmation.
5. Driver/Partner Responsibilities
  • Must have valid driver’s license and roadworthy vehicle.
  • Must comply with local transport laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for the safety of passengers and parcels in transit.
  • May be subject to ratings, reviews, and penalties for misconduct or service failures.
6. Payments and Fees
  • Payment terms and rates will be displayed prior to confirming a booking.
  • Payments are processed through our platform or an integrated third-party payment gateway.
  • The Company retains a service fee of 17% commission from each transaction.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Users may cancel bookings within a defined timeframe to avoid charges.
  • Refunds for missed or failed deliveries are subject to investigation.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur penalties or no refund.
8. Liability
  • The Company is not liable for loss, theft, damage, or delays unless due to gross negligence.
  • Drivers are responsible for the condition and safety of parcels or passengers during transport.
  • Users must ensure items are appropriately packed and labeled.
9. Insurance

Drivers are encouraged to have personal or commercial insurance for vehicle and goods-in-transit. The Company may provide limited liability cover, but this does not replace individual insurance responsibility.

10. Prohibited Items

Users may not send or transport:

  • Illegal substances or drugs
  • Weapons or firearms
  • Hazardous materials
  • Stolen goods
  • Perishable food (unless agreed in advance)
11. Termination and Suspension

The Company may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Repeated violations of terms
  • Abuse of the platform or its users
  • Illegal use of the service
12. Privacy

User data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share personal information without consent.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the user’s jurisdiction.
